Description:
The property is located at the southeast corner of East
50th Street and Avenue A, within the city limits of
Lubbock. Generally speaking, the neighborhood can be
defined as 34th Street to the north, Interstate 27 to
the west, and Loop 289 to the south and east.
Primary
access to the area is provided by Loop 289, which encircles
the majority of the developed area within the corporate
limits of the city, and by Interstate 27, which is the
only north-south freeway through Lubbock County. These
freeways also intersect other U.S. and state highways
which provide access from more remote areas. U.S. Highway
84 (Slaton Highway), the main east-west connector through
southeast Lubbock, intersects Loop 289 three miles to
the east of the subject and intersects Interstate 27
one mile west of the property. The southern intersection
of Loop 289 and Interstate 27 is one mile southwest
of the property. Overall, access to the area is excellent.
The retail store consists of a showroom/sales area,
office space and receiving room. It is air conditioned
and heated with a finished ceiling, restrooms, sprinkler
system and an overhead loading door.
